L'12 L Water Softener Protects your equipment from limescale deposits caused by hard water, which is rich in calcium and magnesium ions. These minerals can damage machines that come into contact with water or steam, such as coffee machines, combi ovens, dishwashers, and ice makers.
Operating principle
Water softening is based on a ion exchange. A special resin, contained in a column, replaces the calcium and magnesium ions with sodium ions. When the resin is saturated, a process of regeneration with a salt solution (non-iodized salt only) restores its abilities.

- Only suitable for thedrinking water.
- Installation possible if the water temperature is lower than 45°C and the pressure does not exceed 2 bars.
- Optimal operating pressure : 1-2 bars (range: 1-8 bars).
- Speed : 1000 L/h.
- Room temperature : 4°C to 35°C.
- Water temperature : 4°C to 25°C.
- Connection : 3/8”.
Note: The connected device cannot be used during regeneration.
